Reflection
In 1968, after the murder of Dr Martin Luther King, in Riceville town with a third grade classroom, an experiment happened next day after the assassination and the result was related to discrimination. A teacher called Jane Elliot did a type of discrimination to her students. She said that the brown eye students is better than the blue eya students were then she started to separate them. For example, she said to one of the students it's not equal to let you play with brown eyed student because you are not smart enough to be in the same yard. The day after she swapped the condition between the two groups and did the same things to them. As a result of this experiment a state of depression covered the students and the result was they got bad marks in their test. I think it's not a good way to teach children discrimination.

Reflection
This project was completely different from other projects that I had before, because we did not have a project that we should make a video of about 5-7 minutes. That project was interesting and it was a new thing for us to learn, However we had some issues with recording the video. The idea of the video was learning more about our culture and I think this is a perfect way to learn more. But I think the time was not enough for us to do a perfect video, Although the time of the video is too short we cut a lot from scenes from the video. I learn a lot of that video such as how to communicate with tourist and give them a good feel about us and our culture, At the same time we had some fun. Hope that we have another project like that one.

Culture: the shared values, history, customs etc of a people.
Diversity: differences e.g. race, gender, economic status, religion etc.
Cultural diversity: a multicultural society where it is understood that each individual is different re. race, gender, economic status, religion, physical abilities etc. When this occurs we have social harmony i.e. peaceful co-existence of people from different backgrounds. In such a society there will be cross-cultural communication, where people from differing backgrounds can communicate and avoid conflicts and can even adopt aspects of other cultures i.e. acculturation. In this type of society there will be a widely-shared belief in human rights, basic freedoms which belong to all people regardless of colour, language, religion etc.
Bias: if you are braised it means you have an idea that someone or something is superior to another for no logical reason. It is similar to prejudice, e.g. Recital prejudice in apartheid south Africa.
Culture shock: this is when you find aspects of another culture so different from your own.
Demographics:the study of the population and it's component parts.
Discrimination: there was racial discrimination in apartheid south Africa.
Ethnic group: it's a group which sha
