Reflection

In 1968, after the murder of Dr Martin Luther King, in Riceville town with a third grade classroom, an experiment happened next day after the assassination and the result was related to discrimination. A teacher called Jane Elliot did a type of discrimination to her students. She said that the brown eye students is better than the blue eya students were then she started to separate them. For example, she said to one of the students it's not equal to let you play with brown eyed student because you are not smart enough to be in the same yard. The day after she swapped the condition between the two groups and did the same things to them. As a result of this experiment a state of depression covered the students and the result was they got bad marks in their test. I think it's not a good way to teach children discrimination.
